Our Impact

Since August 2019, From Bags to Belongings has collected over 1,000 new pieces of luggage that will replace trash bags that foster care children use to transport their belongings.

With the help of generous community partners like Stater Bros. Charities, From Bags to Belongings (in partnership with The Children’s Fund of San Bernardino Counties) secured a grant to provide nearly 300 suitcases for foster care children in San Bernardino County.

Since the grant, From Bags to Belongings has donated brand new luggage with the help of generous donors. Recipients of the donations include The Hope Collaborative, The Walden Family Services, The Hope Collaborative, Social Services of Riverside County, A Coming of Age, and Olive Crest Foster Care agencies. Most recently, From Bags to Belongings officially received 501c3 Non-profit status to expand the project to launch nationwide.
